A Melody Love Story: Prince and Anvi

Anvi had always lived a simple life in her small hometown, where mornings were filled with the scent of fresh flowers and evenings passed in quiet conversations with family. But when she got the chance to study at one of Mumbai’s top colleges, she knew her life was about to change.

Excitement and nervousness filled her heart as she stepped off the train, her suitcase in hand. Mumbai was a world she had never known—bustling streets, flashing billboards, and a sea of people moving as if time itself was racing. She arrived at her masi’s house, where she would be staying, and took a deep breath. This was her new beginning.

A Chance Encounter

The next morning, Anvi entered her new college. It was grand, filled with stylish students who walked with confidence. Unlike her, they seemed to belong. She adjusted her simple dupatta, clutching her books tightly.

As she hurried toward her class, a sudden push from the crowd made her lose her balance. Just when she thought she would fall, strong arms caught her.

"Careful!" a deep voice said.

Anvi looked up and found herself staring into the warm brown eyes of a boy—tall, charming, and with a smile that could make anyone’s heart skip a beat.

"You okay?" he asked, his hands still holding her steady.

"I… yes," Anvi mumbled, quickly stepping back, flustered.

"I’m Prince," he introduced himself, tilting his head slightly, amusement flickering in his eyes.

"Anvi," she replied softly before rushing off.

Little did she know, this brief encounter was just the beginning.

The Unlikely Friendship

Prince was one of the most popular guys in college. Confident, stylish, and effortlessly charming, he was the boy every girl secretly (or openly) crushed on. But despite the attention, he found himself thinking about Anvi—the quiet girl with deep eyes and a heart that didn’t try to impress.

Over the next few days, their paths crossed again and again. Prince made it a point to talk to her, and soon, a friendship bloomed. Anvi, though hesitant at first, found comfort in his presence.

"You’re different from the others," he said one day as they sat on the steps outside the library.

"And you’re not what I expected," she admitted.

His friends didn’t understand.

"She’s not your type," Kabir, his best friend, pointed out.

Prince only smiled. "I don’t know… she’s mysterious. And I’ve never felt this way before."

Falling in Love

The more time they spent together, the more Prince realized that he was falling for Anvi. Not because she was the most beautiful girl on campus, but because she was real. She wasn’t trying to impress him, and yet, everything about her did.

One evening, as they walked along Marine Drive, Prince stopped and turned to her.

"Anvi, I have to tell you something."

She looked at him, waiting.

"I love you," he said, his voice sincere. "You’re unique. Your simplicity is what makes you special. I’ve never felt this way before."

Anvi’s heart pounded. "Prince… I never thought someone like you would ever—"

Prince gently held her hands. "You’re not just ‘someone,’ Anvi. You’re the only one."

A shy smile appeared on her lips. "I… I think I love you too."

And in that moment, under the city lights, with the waves singing their melody, their love story truly began.

Together, Always

Their journey wasn’t easy. People doubted them, questioned them.

"Are you sure about her?" someone asked Prince.

"She’s my choice," he answered without hesitation.

"Prince is out of your league," Anvi’s friends warned her.

"But he’s in my heart," she whispered.

Through every challenge, they held on to each other. And in a city that once felt unfamiliar, Anvi found her home—not in Mumbai, but in Prince’s love.

Because sometimes, love isn’t about finding someone who fits into your world. It’s about finding someone who makes a new world just for you.

The End.
