A Courier At Powai

"Happy birthday Ma'am"

"Thank you! may I know, who is this??"

"Certainly Ma'am..I am calling from BlueDart and there is a courier for you. I am at the gate number 3 so, can you please come and collect it?"

"Ohh... I think, you have called a wrong person. I am not expecting any courier today"

"Ma'am, this courier holds your office address, Powai"

"What? wait a minute, I am on my way" saying this she hung up the phone and rushed to the main gate.

"Here is your courier ma'am"

A courier without the sender's address

"What kind of hoax is this? huh, where is the guy gone ?"

Within a blink of second the guy was vanished from her sight while she was busy looking for sender's details on the courier

"My favorite Tulip flowers and a bucket of chocolates....wow this is amazing!" she reacted surprisingly.

"Is this for me? but it does not even have sender's name" she asked to herself trying to think about all the possible people who knows so much about her.

"Ohhh....there's a letter hidden inside the bouquet. Shall I read it? I mean what's wrong in reading the letter, I may get some idea about the person who has sent it" with all the confusion in her head, she finally opened it.

The letter goes like this:

"My dearest little sister, happiest birthday to you....wait wait choti, before getting irked and throwing the flowers read the letter first...please!!!

Sorry that, I could not make it to your birthday. Yes, I know we have not met since past two years, I do understand what are you going through in my absence. Trust me bachaa I had applied for leaves and they were approved too and I had even planned for a special surprise today but due to emergency I got transferred to Kashmir....Ahhhh..don't...don't....start crying and please don't be agitated, the situation is under control now.

We are Indian Army and we have never been trained to lose any war. So, smile now please... It's your birthday today and you will go like this to office, with a groan face? now go fast...there's a surprise waiting for you at your desk and I promise that, I will be there with you in your next birthday till then, my brave girl take care of yourself, Maa n Paa" she tucked the letter close to her heart and cried like a baby admiring her Super Hero serving the nation!
