“Look at this beautiful planet. They call it Earth. It looks even more attractive when you see it from here, isn’t it!”

“Yes! It looks stunning from space. Almost like our Snelok. I don’t understand why the Earth resembles Snelok and why we aren’t allowed to go there!”

Two gigantic entities, with human-like shape, were conversing thousands of kilometers away in deep space while looking at the earth with great desire. Their bodies were glowingly radiant as if made of a great mass of bright lights. If someone from our planet would have seen them, they would have scared thinking of them as giant human-shaped stars.

They were residents of Snelok. A planet from another part of the universe, a planet from a distant solar system and not yet known to any scientists of the Earth. All Snelokians know about the Earth, but the same can’t be said for inhabitants of the Earth. These Snelokians have bodies similar to humans but much more gigantic. There must be some unusually different thing in their DNA (if they have any), that makes them mightier than most living species of the universe. Who else can travel in space with no spaceship!

The male one sighed, “We Snelokians can go to any planet, any galaxy, anywhere in the universe. But not to Earth. It’s prohibited in Predctim.”

The female gently asked, “Forget it. Guess why I brought you here?”

“Why?”

“We are very near to witness that moment which is written in our Predctim. The moment that will mark the beginning of the new era for the entire universe. The moment that we have been hearing from centuries.” she exclaimed with great excitement.

“You mean those moments of the vicissitude of Gopal’s love story...?” he asked amusingly.

“Yes! The love story that made us who we are today. We must go on earth and watch it closely.”, she insisted.

“No. We should not. It’s strictly prohibited in Predctime. The planet earth is vibrating in a different frequency and is in a totally different stream of time than Snelok. Going to earth means traveling to the past. We will also lose many of our powers until the time we are on earth. So, it’s a no from my side,”, he said firmly.

“But why? O. K! I know the rules! It's written that we can’t interfere with anything happening there. But we CAN observe it. Let’s not forget that Predctim is written in a cryptic language and its words often have more than one meaning. It's really not that easy to decipher Predctim. Look, I have studied hard and I am sure that we will find those hidden clues there,”. She paused for a while to see the effect on her partner.

But he still didn’t seem ready to take the risk. Not even for those precious hidden clues. Perhaps the fear was overpowering the greed.

So she changed her strategy and said, “We will go there in human form, not in our present Snelokian avatar. Only Snelokians may not visit earth, humans can. So, technically we will not be breaking rules. Let’s not forget this is the last chance we have.”

He had to give in finally, knowing it was their last chance. “Okay. Okay. But remember, we must adhere to the rules. Absolutely NO interference in anything happening there. Otherwise, it will affect the stream of the time and it may create catastrophic chaos in the entire Universe,” he warned.

“Yes. We won’t play with time and won’t use our powers. Promise. Now let’s go...”, she dragged him downwards to the earth. Their bodies turned into radiant flames resembling a comet as they joined their hands and started to travel towards a special place on the earth. To a town called Ramnagar.

(Date: - 28.11.2015. Time 2:19 am.

Place: Miracle avenues, a luxurious apartment in Ramnagar, a small, beautiful, fully developed town. )

“Why the hell I am sweating!, am I, coward?”. Gops asked himself. Everyone called him Gops, including himself. ‘Gopal’ name was limited only to legal documents.

The question was obvious. Who sweats in spine chilling foggy winter night!?. And that too on an open terrace of a 16 storied apartment! The entire Ramnagar city was submerged in the silent darkness of night. And the power cut was making it even scary. At such a time Gopal was alone on the edge of the terrace–frustrated and emotionally devastated.

“It seems as if the night today is just like my life... Immensely dark and lonely. You are all gone Gops!!”, he said to himself.

“No, I am not afraid to die,” he murmured with a sinking voice, “and neither coward”, tightening his left-hand grip on sleeping pills bottle while staring at the locked screen of his smartphone in the other hand. He forcefully controlled his intense desire to unlock the screen and see her photo.

He paused for a moment, taking a deep breath and closing his eyes. Misty scenes of a pretty face surfaced in his mind, making him upset relentlessly. Instead of giving relief, this act distorted his emotions even more. He couldn’t stop crying this time.

“Had you let me known earlier about such an end to my love story, I would have quit earlier, God. I was living in the illusion that you are listening,” he was sobbing heavily again hoping that God is listening to him and would do something miraculous.

But he could not understand whether he is complaining to God or fighting with him or praying to him in the disguise of resentment.

With his uneven rhythm of rapid breaths and tearful eyes, he finally made up his mind and swallowed the first pill before second thought can alter his terminal determination.

“I don’t want to die. But I don’t want to live either. God. What a mess of a life I am in...! Would anyone in this world have faced such a messy situation?”

Gops was finding it difficult to stop intense cry from his heart and loud voices from the mind.

He was still struggling to believe what was happening to him. “I must be the most unlucky person in the world.” He again murmured with pounding pulses and consumed one more pill.

But this time he lost total control over feelings and cried out loud, realizing that he won’t be in this world tomorrow.

“Purnimaaaaaaaaa…” he yelled fiercely, using all capacity of his lungs. He felt as if the intensity of his grief-stricken loud scream would tear the sky. Its echo crashed into his own ears, making his heartbeats bury even heavily in grief and remembrance of that beautiful face. He couldn’t control the desire of seeing her for one more ‘last’ time and unlocked the screen of his phone.

That innocent pretty face glowed from the screen, illuminating the darkness of the night and sadness of Gopal’s face. “ohhhhh god… Is it true that she will not be mine?

He sighed heavily and yelled again, “purnimaaaaaa… my poonieeee....!!!”

The sound was so loud that it jolted him and made him conscious for a moment. He realized that he may attract unwanted attention and his ‘mission end life’ might not materialize.

He immediately looked around.

“Thank God. No one is here. All must be asleep”, he thought and consumed one more pill, crying heavily, but this time in lowest voice possible.

But he was unaware that in the darkness of terrace, two raging saffron eyes, filled with utmost disgust, were observing his every single movement and listening to his every single word with the utmost attention. That evil shadow was hiding behind the stairs room. If anyone has seen the shadow at the moment, he would have died in fear. The extra-large size and freaky shape of that inhumane shadow was making it look like an otherworldly element.

But, Gopal was ignorant of anyone else’s presence on the terrace.

“Do I really want to do this?” Gops asked himself. He still couldn’t believe that his love story has finally arrived at a point where he and Purnima are being separated. Purnima is willingly marrying to someone else. And all he could do was...NOTHING.

“I have done nothing wrong in my life. Then why this is happening to me”, he again sobbed realizing that he won’t be able to see the sunrise tomorrow.

“Sorry, my parents. I’m not a good son.” He uttered discreetly and unclearly as his constant crying made it impossible to pronounce correctly.

Hidden creepy shadow’s ears could not decipher what he murmured this time. It crawled closer to Gops in a stealth manner.

Poor Gops was still thinking no one was listening to him. Not even his God.

“I must not remember God,” he thought, “lest he might grant me salvation. I can’t afford it! Because I want to take birth again and marry her in my next birth. Purnima has promised that she will be the only mine for the next seven lives. I need to take birth again”

“It’s only 7 pills till now.” He remembered and counted the remaining pills in the bottle.

“I must hurry before my intentions get weak,” he thought and grab a fistful of pills from the bottle to swallow all at once.

“Yes. The final moments...!” he murmured. And cried out heavily again, feeling his tender heart being crushed beneath gigantic mountains of grief.

His left hand full of pills moved towards his mouth. Running short of breath, he tried to take a deep breath and sighed.

“Purni...” before he could finish the word and swallow the pills, a heavy blow of punch hit his face. The jolt was so powerful that made him almost unconscious. His eyes couldn’t see anything but darkness. And before he could understand what’s happening, he realized that someone lifted him and thrown him from the terrace.

“Oh god... What the hell is happening...? Who is trying to kill me when I, myself is sacrificing my life. And why.....?” His body trembled in fear of the unknown. He couldn’t keep eyes open but smiling Purnima was still in his mind’s eye.

Dhabbb..

Gops’ body banged the road outside Miracle Avenue, with full force snatching away his consciousness. His breaths became shorter and shorter, deeper and sinking.

Gops was wondering about his still being alive.

“How much time would I survive after being thrown from the 16th floor and consuming these many sleeping pills.” he thought. Immense pain in all limbs of his body and every single cell was making it impossible for him to stay awake.

“Anyway, the final moments have arrived. It’s the end...!

Though not the way I planned. I couldn’t do anything for my dreams. Couldn’t live and couldn’t die too as planned...! What an unlucky person I am.”, Gopal’s breaths were stopping gradually but thoughts were refusing to stop...

He sunk in sweet memories of his love Purnima, in memory of the song he composed for her but yet couldn’t play it before her.

But before he could delve deeper into a dreamy state, a blow-off sharp weapon tore his shirt and belly. It must be a sword; he thought and felt as if his intestines came out of the stomach with gushes of blood. With great efforts, he could hardly see that evil, that otherworldly nasty creature. It was holding a sword-like sharp weapon and laughing in the dirtiest manner he had ever seen.

And before he could feel anything else, he sunk into unconsciousness. He ran out of the breaths before he could even close his eyes.

“He he he.... heeeeeeeeeee”, the otherworldly shadow was happy that he finally finished the story of Gopal forever. He did exactly as his master has told – “Kill him, don’t let him suicide”.

Masters will be happy, the shadow thought and spat on the energy-less body of Gopal. The spittle was florescent orange and stinky.

Suddenly, the shadow felt someone’s presence behind his back. He turned back with a quick jolt immediately. And could speak only four words “Oh No... Damn... You...?!”

It shocked the evil shadow to death. That gentleman clad in a suit didn’t give him time to think further and split the evil creature from the waist with a heavy and powerful blow of a strange multi-edged weapon. That evil shadow fell down into two pieces, lifeless.

Red blood from goals Gopal’s body and orange fluid from evil shadow’s body was forming abstract designs on the road.

The lips of that stylish man curved a little to form a subtle smile. And shouted, “Not this time Zerg, not this time. You can’t succeed this time. Just like always, you IMPPATONS can’t win against us ever... WE ARE SATKEEVERS. THE MIGHTIEST ON THE PLANET.”

Then he moved towards Gopal’s body in a winning manner while kicking evil shadow’s half body that was hindering the path. He looked at lifeless Gopal and bent a little to touch his face. He turned Gopal’s face a little and inserted a device resembling a microneedle in his neck. He then snapped and suddenly, two more suited booted men emerged from the fog.

“Take him carefully to our dimension. We must protect him at all costs. Even at the cost of our lives.” he told both his fellows.

They both nodded without saying a word and picked up the lifeless, bleeding body of Gopal and walked a few steps before vanishing in the fog.

The man who killed the evil shadow followed them and before vanishing in fog and darkness, he did perform the finishing act.

His both hands drew out a strange small revolver like weapons from pockets of his suit. Without turning back, he fired weapons from his both hands simultaneously. Huge multicolor flame came out of left-hand tiny weapon and similarly huge translucent flame from a right-hand tiny weapon.

Both flames merged into each other over two bleeding halves of evil shadow and turned them into ashes in a blink of an eye. Then the flames moved ahead towards the blood of Gopal spread on the road. And made it evaporate instantaneously. The flames then formed a column shape and moved towards the sky, disappearing in a moment.

Now the road had no visible sign of any kind of mishap or battle. It was clean like before.

On the other side, Gopal’s body was traveling into a different dimension with SATKEEVERS. They were taking care of his lifeless body as the most precious thing in the world.

But no one knew that someone was secretly watching everything that happened near Miracle avenue in the last few minutes.

A mad beggar used to stay in a pit dug by him a few yards away from Miracle Avenues. He came out of his pit limping and moved towards the place of an incident out of curiosity. And then, happened what must not have happened.

That poor deranged beggar saw a small amount of shining orange fluid in a tiny pothole of the road. The bright color of that liquid lured him. He tasted that fluid with his finger.

He felt that fluid had sheety taste and tried to spit. But no…! Before he could do anything, suddenly, he felt an extreme burning sensation in his Esophagus. He started feeling unbearable pain. He tried to yell for help but smoke came out of his mouth instead of voice.

Clueless, he ran towards the direction where he saw Gopal and SATKEEVERS disappearing. But unfortunately, he rammed into the wall of Ramnagar’s lake. Having lost control over his senses, the hapless beggar lost his balance and fell into the lake and drowned.

And that was the culmination of the misfortune of Ramnagar. Suddenly, the water of that portion of the lake started boiling. Soon, the entire lake was boiling within no time.

This dreadful scene would have startled anyone from Ramnagar. But these two persons, standing little far from the lake, seemed calm. They were Snelokians who arrived just when a SATKEEVER killed IMPPATON evil Zerg.

“This human has done awful mistake", uttered male Snelokian anxiously, “I fear this planet is on the verge of the holocaust."

“Yes", she said in a trembling voice, “this should not have happened."

Both were speechless for a few moments, knowing the ghastly result of the event.

She decided what she has to do, and she ran towards the lake on the spur of a moment. Her partner shouted in panic, “Stop. We MUST NOT interfere. Don’t…”

Before he could finish the sentence, she reached the wall surrounding the lake and plunged in boiling water.
