Dear diary,

I'm sitting in the window looking at the fading pink Sky as the noon shifts into the evening, this is as good as it can get in this lockdown. Strange how the Earth moves on without anyone really being present- it's like everyone has ceased to exist, which kind of shows how the earth was- minus the human beings, buildings, and Dinosaurs. You know with these 21 days free, the mind isn't truly free it's filled with thoughts-worrying, thinking about the future, what will happen and so on. Anxiety at times is crippling-if it's not you, it's someone in your family who scared and no matter how brave we pretend to be- it does scare you- somewhere deep down the uncertainty, the helplessness scares you. One thing other than that will have to be the regret, the regret of taking things for granted. There is a lot we take for granted for instance- coming back from classes, sitting in the park, going to school early in the morning sitting in the school van-poking your fingers out, taking a walk overlooking the creek -smell annoys you but the mountains over head are always beautiful. There is a lot of stuff to miss. Like a thought always lingers, " only if I had known,i would have hugged my friends a little tighter or bid my teachers a better goodbye." It might seem dramatic, but when you are in such a strange position, a lot of this runs in your mind. A lot might or will change, we will not find this world as we left her, but that's ok, the earth's healing it's taking a much-deserved break from all of us. The same thing can be applied now while we are "stuck" with our families even alone let's not take this for granted let's use it to our best possible ways, and also pray for the ones who are fighting this battle help them by staying at home. As I end it, the sky is finally at peace with the settling evening, the birds are back home just like us. ;)
