You Taught Me To Fly With Wings
You Taught Me To Fly With Wings
I was a sick bird that could not fly.
you taught me to fly with wings.
Was, a thirsty barren desert; you
filled me with water.
I was, under a big tree, a bush ashamed; you
taught me to live with my head held high.
I was homeless, restless; you gave me
shelter in your heart. I was like an
ignorant child; you gave me
understanding capabilities.
I was the blank page of the diary; you wrote in it
and then completed it.
The God I have never seen, whose place was
empty in my mind; you are the only one
who has occupied that place.
