Women
Women
They fell prey to men,
Sobbed behind bars,
Sacrificed their identity,
Buried their aspirations,
And only then,
Were they recognised—'women'.
They wore clothes,
Only to be disrobed,
And for all that a man did,
They were awarded beautiful names—slut, whore,
Just to earn bread,
She sacrificed her body,
However, nobody was interested in her identity.
She was a daughter, a wife, a sister, and a teenage mother,
By her unfair fate.
Those ruthless curss,
Only knew how to tear apart that soft flesh,
They were hungry,
And so was the girl,
By her destiny.
