My First Files!

My First Files!

2 mins 397 2 mins 397

My first day on this Earth,

As people say, the day of my birth,

I know my parents were extremely happy,

Though their tearful eyes, I couldn't see!

My first love was my own mother,

Many others loved me, but I didn't bother,

My mom, such a beautiful lady, and ultramodern,

She used to say that I was her little version!

My first friend was my own father,

He, being my best one, I found no other,

He supported me, being by my side,

While playing with me, he too became a child!

My first day in nursery was memorable,

I remember, I cried and cried, unstoppable,

Seeing new babies like me, and teachers like aunties,

But eager to read and learn new fantasies!

Then when I got off 11, I got my first menstruation,

My mother quietly told me,- 'there was no tension,

Every female had to go through this natural thing till she gets infertile',

So I too welcomed it every month with a smile!

My first day in college, it was amazing,

The feeling was same like before, except for the crying,

New campus, new building, totally different from School,

All new in new place, on the first day itself, I acted like a fool!

My first day as a doctor, I was proud,

Being successful, competing with the crowd,

My parents and several others congratulated,

When in the merit list, my name was stated!

My first day at my in-law home,

My in-laws and my husband, not letting me feel like a new one,

I loved the love and happiness in it's air,

They gave me the freedom to live in my own way, there!

My first baby I had, she was a girl,

Oh my prayers, the Almighty had heard,

All others were not so Happy with a girl born,

But I fought, not letting her feel like a discern!

Then came my grandbaby, and I became a grandma,

My girl's in-laws were good and with a big heart,

My granddaughter was such a cute doll,

I loved my little princess, as to her, I used to call!

At last came the last day of my life,

As I lie on this bed, thinking about my first files,

I know this time it's the last one breath I'll take,

But I'll say, - it's the first day of mine in heaven!
