One For You
One For You
One who chose the waves,
Before silent streams,
One who chose the perilous side of love,
Before confessing it to You in being.
One who made winters warm,
And sheltered you from rain,
One who trialed in front of the mirror,
Before bowing to his Juliet.
One who was introvert in voicing feelings,
And always postponed priorities,
One who regularly hanged up calls,
Yet patiently waited for one,
One that would skip a beat,
One that was too precious to him.
One who stalked in secrecy,
One who kept You above everything,
One who chuckled in Your memories.
You were too rare to be lost,
And too graceful to be left off by him.
One who overtook aspirations in his dreams,
The photo hugging which,
He hid under his blanket.
Everything was to be the "One for You."
