Rain - A Genuine Friend

She was aspiring for more,

But saw little,

She wanted to delve more,

But did little.

She wanted to complain,

But restrained,

Until those rain droplets chilled down her cheeks.

She whispered,

But seemed inaudible.

She was drenched,

Yet, did not complain for an umbrella.

She was betrayed,

But never left hoping,

She was precipitating,

But loved the gentle rain.

When it slowly kissed,

She did not feel lonely anymore,l.

She had a "natural friend",

Who possessed her by now.

However this time,

She did not resist these GENUINE and innocent droplets,

Who penetrated into her,

And calmed her soul.

They brought peace in her life,

And soaked the rain out of her eyes.
