As your eyes adapt to new lands,

Soils muddy, skies so glittery,

And when you calm those shaky hands,

Will you remember me?

As your mug waits for its virgin soul,

The black brew, coffee bubbles steamy,

And when you smell in them a pristine tale untold,

Will you remember me?

As your steps count maiden ways,

Noon’s sweaty, nights so starry,

And when you jump between your days,

Will you remember me?

As you talk of what makes you, you,

Angels of passion, demons of fury,

And when you look for another story revealed to few,

Will you remember me?

As your mind races to novel bonds,

Shy inside, yet friends made in a hurry,

And when you hear similar 'favorite' songs,

Will you remember me?

As your chest bears an unknown charge,

Tired, but satisfied with the weights you carry,

And when you pause in a moment of peaceful mirage,

Will you remember me?

As your heart widens to accept all that is,

The changes, the transformation, the turns of destiny,

And when amongst all the novelty, you crave for one original piece,

Will you remember me?

In the morning lights,

In the soulful nights,

In the business of biz,

In the loneliness without glitz,

In the smile masking the moisture,

In the tear crossing my facial texture,
