Bruvver (my bro) - In Zion (Heavens)

Bruvver (my bro) - In Zion (Heavens)

I think of you in silence,

I often speak your name,

All I have are memories,

And a rakhi frame.

Your memory is a keepsake,

from which I will never part,

God has you in his arms,

and I have you in my heart.

I think all day long,

Of you, Of your beautiful nature,

All the plans the desires,

And of your short, cut-off future.

Tears cloud my eyes

Not because I am not brave,

But to sh

ow for you,

How much I really crave.

Days change to nights,

And months to years,

But your memories have never escaped,

Even after weeks of tears.

Those laughs, those memories,

Now all seem far away,

Silence drawing upon them,

Tears carrying them away.

Now you seem so far,

And your death seems to do us apart,

But oh! I swear

You shall live forever locked safely in my heart!
