Why I Chose My Dream ?

I know I am wrong, 

But when did the world was right? 

Before starting anything 

I want to say it straight, 

Mama loves you more than

anything 

But Mama loves her dream the most. 

The above line says, 

I am selfish 

But killing our dreams to live for others

Is also not right. 

I'm your mom

You're my child 

But I am also human. Right! 

Who has a heart, who have a life 

Who has dreamt of a beautiful sight... 

This doesn't state I don't love you 

Mama loves you, my child. 

But today I have to choose,

Between you and my dream.

Before choosing I want to say

How you both are important to me. 

You're my flesh 

You're my blood 

You're the loveliest gift, 

I ever got in this world. 

But the dream 

It gave me sight,

It gave me life,

It is the reason that made me 

Live, till this point.

The choice is tough 

I might get wrong,

You both are as important as my soul.

Though they have to choose one.

And I choose my dream.

I might be wrong 

According to you 

According to the world 

But the choice is mine.

You are part of me, 

But it's my life. 

I can't live without you, 

But without this, I can't even imagine. 

Hope you will understand 

Not to-day, but some other day

The reason, 

I chose my dream 

Above you & everything.
