Drama Tragedy

Appreciation

Appreciation

1 min 99 1 min 99

I was frustrated

And now even jealous

All because that, Appreciation

Never came

Not on the door

Not on the window

Nor with the passing wind

Neither with running water.

I waited and waited and waited

I don't know for how long, but

It never came.

Frustration piled up

With some more jealousy some more and more

Sprinkled with sadism and

Negativity.

Did dear ask why?

But I busted

Just go to hell and die

And why was all this

Appreciation

I wanted this

Even a little bit but I called for it

Like a smoker desiring

Cigarettes

Like a drunker desiring

Alcohol

Like a druggist desiring

Cocaine

I desired this

To get this

I gave up my sight

To get this

I gave up my dreamy night

To get this

I gave up my placid mind

Appreciation

I presented everything

Costing my life

But it never came

Just for once

It never showed up on its face

Under the rug of frustration, jealousy, negativity and sadism

I died a never-ending death

Every-time

All because appreciation never came

Not now

Not then

It never came
