Where Are You Now…?

Where Are You Now…?

You told me that you love me,

You showed that you care.

Do you remember this place,

We used to walk around here.

These sweet chirping birds,

They daily sing our tales,

Your love, your smile, your laughs,

And the last words which you yelled.

Do you remember that old tree,

Or the names engraved on it?

There are thousands of stories,

Hidden in its girth.

I used to sit in its shade,

With you beside me in my arms,

My shoulders being your pillow,

That was the best of my time.

And what about that shore near,

There we walked with hand in hand,

And sometimes they were your pranks,

Which made us run on this sand.

At the time when we first met,

To our first and last kiss,

The rain and thunder over here,

Always say that's what they miss.

I am still waiting sitting here,

Even the sun is going back to its dome,

Just to get a glimpse of you,

In the sky that's your new home.
