What is India to you?

Is it a country where love is true?

Is it a country where people stay together 

Or do they live in fear?

Is it a country one is proud to be in?

Or is it a place where life seems to be grim?

Is it a country that preaches fraternity?

Or do people wait here for peace till eternity?

India is a country of solace,

We proselytise virtue and grace,

A land of great vision and desire,

We live here without any fear.

India is a land of unity, 

Here, we uphold the spirit of community. 

We understand the sacrifices of our people,

We don't let our righteousness topple.
