Victory

So much celebration and fanfare,

So much to welcome the victorious,

So many lives are lost for our motherland….

The impact of war, is always so disastrous!

Why bring the nations on the verge of war?

Why, instead of mutual benefit, each other we abhor?

Why is there a useless competition, when the people

can work in collaboration, and refrain from war?

Where medals come to the leaders,

And, the country men safe:

In a small room, stays the family, in tears

for the loss that none can repair.
