Unheard Sobs

Unheard Sobs

Sitting along the Holy river,

The chaste thought that crept my mind,

Dad be up

By this time,

Let's giggle with him,

Chatter the fun,

Discuss of picnics he called off

Deciding to go on his daily chores,

He makes no time for us,

I believe his second wife lives in the store,

I'll complain to him,

Be a little nice to us

Sit with us and dine upon

Heading upon to the house,

I heard the strange sobs,

Of a man who slays like tiger,

And roars like a lion

He is the iron man I have been

Wandering for past 17 yrs,

Now when I saw his rolling tears,

I wandered over the fact that sneers

Why a lion needs to cry?

I heard the words mumble that say,

Penny not for daughter's wedding day,

The coming calendar,

Demands my partner to operate,

If delayed, maybe late,

The son abroad must not starve,

I must send money, so he eats till he burbs,

The angel needs a new attire,

She demanded the garland of sapphire

But alas, I am a poor dad,

Who can't accomplish little heart wish,

Her aircraft of desires will soon be crashed

But now I must keep hope,

And row the boat with a better oar"

He got down and found me on the way,

I replied, "Dad, you are my lion, and lions are meant to slay"
