Or am I the reason for millions to survive?

The black attire of puddles,

Before your address.?

Am the silk that recreates the fields,

Or am I the flood, the swallow your meals? 

What am I?

Am the crimson blush of soaked petals,

Or am I the rust that corrodes metals.? 

What am I?

Am I the ointment to burning earth,

Or am I the reason for acid burns?

What am I? 

Am I the source of writer's ink, 

Or am I the blood in wars that passed? 

What am I?

Am I the Demise of my dad?
