Two is indeed a company

After a long and tiring day in the field,

They both made their way home,

Both walked in complete silence,

Because it was too late and dark,

Every now and then he looked at her,

Extending his helping hand at her, And patting her back encouragingly,

After what seemed to be endless hours,

They were in sight of the familiar shelter,

He walked ahead and opened the gate,

She entered in and looked at him staringly,

Sincerely wanting to thank him profusely,

But she did not know how to thank him enough,

Because He was a Man and She was a Cow!
