Turbulent Times

Not sure who would survive and will die,

Just on false hopes, we rely on,

With withered hopes, we strived to survive,

By mustering all our will, we always won the fight.

Unsung heroes never lost vision,

Even when adversity of problems was at their pinnacle.

Through their continuous action,

They were setting a perfect example.

The health was affected,

The alarming situation had us afraid.

Nevertheless, we all knew that we were internally half dead

All puzzled, diffident, and the problem was beyond the ken.

Everything seems dull,

But our faiths were never going to fail.

Mentally we all were depressed,

And various problems on their peak; by their progress they were impressed.

Sometimes we all were trying to give up,

But our hearts were too firm to let us.

United we all fought heroically against the deadly microbe,

Goals were to eliminate it out of the globe.

But now, at the moment, forgetting all our problems,

Let us welcome the upcoming year whole heartedly.

Let’s jubilate these moments with friends and family,

And pass this time happily.

Vowing to ourselves to be a better version of ourselves,

Let’s paint the canvas of new years with flying colors.
