Idly sitting, my gaze fell on a tree,

It seemed loquacious.

The leaves were of a sort,

No matter what, noone is foreign, we're all same; it said.

The pittar patter falling on it were getting scattered,

It told me to stay together and that will make you strong.

Those which were green one day, is falling and falling, down and down with every single breeze,

Oh it told me to think of my tomorrow and nothing is evergreen.

When it was left out with zilch throughout the fall, it still remained the same; strong and steady.

And the next spring made it lit up by bringing unwilted leaves.

Oh it taught me to be strong, and time heals.

Why more reasons to live on? It asked;

True, nothing more I wanted. I replied;
