Deathbed Wish
Deathbed Wish
How he yearned to wipe those tears from his loved ones,
Oh if those would bring him back alive;
His name is being called and cried,
Still echoing all around,
And that was all he could hear atlast,
How could he tell them not to?
Death is inevitable,
He was invited, how can he decline it?
Wanted or not; How could he decide?
Oh the heart where he saved all his love,
How can he show that its still there?
A second chance was all that he asked for;
To enjoy,
To be nice,
To be thankful,
It's beating, beating for its last.
Oh how could he didn't know,
Life is not even long as a strand of tail hair.
And he comprehend and all that he saved for;
Was not supposed to be saved for,
But for to live, in this brief world
And then he slowly withered,
Wishing to live more,
Death warmly welcomed him.
