Today I Poured Some Love

Today I will write a saga,

Of births and burials,

Of drops and oceans.

Today I poured some love,

Not to the ones who speak through lips,

But to the one who speaks silently,

Through the sieving avenues of my defences.

Today I poured some love,

To my subconscious mind,

For Honey, you are my little child;

I neglect over-

And over.

I let him fly

Through the boundless airs,

Across the living waters.

I let him say,

All he wanted to-

All at once;

No rebukes,

No censors.

Little did I know,

That he is surreal and serene;

As innocent as a Wordsworthian Daffodil,

Prancing through the English fields.

I let him ballyhoo,

The dark necessities,

The dank corners,

And the deepest life dwelling,

Inside of me.

Together we embraced,

The rebirth of feelings,

The uncanny ones,

The haunted ones,

And the silences who spoke the loudest.

Together we embraced,

Every drop of blood,

That flowed through each artery,

And the ones that had been buried,

And suppressed.

For today I poured some love,
