Burying The Bird Bizarre
Burying The Bird Bizarre
Human relationships make us feel infinities- some little and others bigger. Yet sometimes we hold onto some chains that are healthier and happier, letting gone off, long time before, to where they truly belong. For those that belong to you will gravitate on their own. Here is a metaphorical tale.
I released the bizarre bird today
For she was fluttering in dismay
Her dismal wings would sob every now and then
Fervent and impatient to land her feet into heaven
Yet today after the uncanny little span of silence
She bawled happily in a blast
And took her breaths last
To become one with her eternal truth-
All that she had been made to disguise by happy ruth.
Now I sit in front of the cage
Tell my unmoving fingers to turn the page
And pray for the heart and smile
For she had come a long way crawling down the avenue, mile after mile.
