The Wait

The night seems to be a bit longer today

My heart has never been impatient this way.

The wait for the morning is unreal and passionate

While the time seems to mock, play and procrastinate.

 

The river of enormous feelings and emotions keep flooding my mind,

While this long night is keeping me still and confined.

My eyes keeps checking the clock like crazy,

While my face keeps blushing like a sweet daisy.

Finally, the has come when you and I will meet,

Not knowing how exactly am I going to greet!

Every nerve in me dances in excitement,

Hoping to make this life amazing and vibrant.

Lastly, I pray God to keep us all happy and content

Giving no chance for distress and repent.

And yeah the night still seems to be a bit longer today,

As my heart has never been impatient this way!
