The Star at Distant Shore
The Star at Distant Shore
Looking back where I used to before,
A star was shining at distant shore,
Not knowing she'd knock my door,
I looked somewhere just to ignore.
Lonely such a gentleman I was,
Our direction then was yet to clash,
Various flowers smiled but withered fast,
Everlasting scent had never last.
I went beyond my beloved land,
Visiting places at rising sun,
Over there I have found someone,
Rose of the chocolate hills island.
I fall in love with beauty,
Voice within said, she's my destiny,
Our meeting started a new story,
Reaching the star in my memory.
Life of mine become much worth living,
Our whole being is keep on singing
Victory songs since our first meeting,
Everlasting is everlasting.
Looking back where I used to before,
A star was shining at distant shore,
Now I know as she enters my door,
I look to her here forever more.
