The snow angels
The snow angels

Three little cherubs were at play.
Round and round they spun in the axis
At the North and South poles
Playing pranks with the polar bears,
Chasing the cubs,
Diving with the penguins
In the icy-cold lakes.
They hid in the igloos
And pranced on the icebergs.
They were the Snow Angels
Sent to preserve the earth.
But suddenly the icebergs were cracking
And the snow fast melting.
All 13,000 species at peril.
They swooped into the sky and spanned out their wings.
The ozone layer was fast depleting
And the polar fauna was disappearing.
The cherubs were in tears.
An angelic world disappearing.
