The Slave Market
The Slave Market
They were kicked,
they were pricked,
they were dragged,
they were stabbed.
In to a market they were auctioned.
Who were these people?
They were slaves. !!
When there were wars,
the one who lost,
were captured and sold in the human flesh market.
No food, no water,
tried for use, like animal abuse,
Humanity at the bottom of the well,
In their agony, nobody could tell,
valued for their bodies to sell.
Victims of circumstances.
To fulfill the elite's nuances,
The young, and healthy,
sold,
to fill the royal coffer,
and belly.
The old were sold, if not, in cells their lives held,
till they rot or death came to save them.
Has Wars done any justice to humanity. !!
The horrors of war
have paid its price, far and wide.
From time immemorial, wars have taken its toll on human life,
A conflict between War and Peace.
War-torn countries can never have Peace.
