The 'She'
The 'She'
It's a 'She',
Not a 'He', my mom did say,
So what let it be,
I was born that day.
Be shy, stay calm,
Is what I was always told,
As I was the 'She',
So I should not be bold.
I grew all by self,
As I stood up to be brave,
I still love them all,
For all those who did not care.
Bye to mom and dad,
One day I did say,
As I walked with him,
Trust was the only way.
I was on a new phase,
With all ups and downs,
I still learned to live with it,
With all twists and turns.
Life now looked simple,
As simple as ready made,
I was now an instant cook,
Also an instant maid,
Only love and care around,
Had just begun to fade.
I gave it all,
The best of all I could,
I had to stand still,
Even if the world around me shook.
It's okay for me now,
Because I am the 'She',
Who can hold it all,
Come what may it be,
After all that I lost,
Was only the 'me' in me.
