The season of joy!!

The sky is lit up with a spectrum of colours, 

The birds are chirping as they swing past their feathers, 

The water currents ebbing down the mountains in the form of rivers, 

Can we say that its finally the end to perspiring summers?

The clouds are jocular as they pour down rain droplets, 

Blocking all the roadways and our home outlets, 

We are all damped still enjoying the season, 

Innumerable tea cups, snacks are various reasons. 

The mother earth portrays a sense of satisfaction, 

Being engrossed with immense heat , 

Finally she can sing and breathe with gratification, 

To all her children the blissful songs that were left incomplete. 

The children are playing in the puddle with their paper boats, 

The farmers are jovial while they graze their cows and goats, 

They are contented about their crops and harvest, 

Finally they can have a sound sleep as they manifest 

The season beholds a lot of memories, 

As I sat with my grandparents in my house's galleries, 

The rain drops remind me of their presence, 

Their lessons of being honest for a successful sustenance. 

May the season fill our life with happiness, 

May we spread our love and craziness, 

Just be consistent and patience like mother earth, 

As there is immense courage in oneself and not dearth.
