The Power Of The Feminine

Shrieking in the darkness

Of the light-less depths of the womb

She cries for mercy

Don't send me to my tomb

I am yet unborn

And don't know the prejudice

That your society has made

A heedless gender bias

I come with powers

Endowed by the divine

The power to give life

To a seed sowed inside

I have the power to 

Nourish and nurture

A power to reap the future

A power to make you whole

A power to read your soul

But yet you don't heed

Or hear her plead

As she is torn

From the womb

Even before she is born!!!
