Taking a little time out for myself.

I sat by the window to pursue my wantonness.

With all the colours, brushes and paper to draw.

I start my journey toward my dreams and wants.

All the day went by for one and others' needs.

Random thoughts all running in Backstreet.

It tries to leap high all in front.

Pushed into the darkness to face the real burn.

At last, the mind turns cumbersome from the cries of unheard grievance.

Ready to burst asking for immediate action.

So comes the need to have a break.

And I sat by the window with paper, brush and colour plate.

What should come out first on the paper?

I ask myself thinking hard out of the sphere.

What is the most persistent plea by conscience?

That should be prioritised out of the stack.

It may be the life wanted but not led.

A perfect of kind I vouched, but not heeded.

A perfect life, surely a eutopia for everyone

Imperfections carve out life to be perfect.

It may be the place of all the wonderlands.

Or the snaps of my happy and sorrowful moments.

It may be a glimpse of the love of my life.

As a person I envy can't spoil my free time.

The peace is outside but the mind is in chaos.

So putting all the noise on paper to find the inner glow.

To recreate myself for the challenges of the next day.

I sit by the window with paper, brush and colours on the tray.
