The Other Side Of Grass

The grass is always greener on the other side,

Just because you saw them smile wide.

But who knows their life's tide,

For it's not an easy ride.

While you might throw tantrums to give a grand birthday party,

An orphan might know not even know it's his birthday.

While you think your parents aren't cool,

Someone might not have an opportunity to utter "Mummy Papa"

While what you see around may not please you,

All a person can see is darkness due to his blindness.

While you might not think once before saying harsh words,

Someone can't speak.

While you complain of too much work pressure,

A labor spends his entire day under sun to feed his family.

While you speak of a loss,

A mother lost his child in a terrorist attack.

While you can't bear a headache,

Someone is undergoing chemo sessions.

While you complain of a small house,

Someone is finding a place on roadside to sleep.

While you want to buy a big car,

A father is simply happy as he was finally able to save enough to buy a toy car for his two year old.

While you can't praise the food served to you,

Some slept after having just water.

Life is one and once. Live it. Appreciate it's beauty.

Remember, life is never greener on the other side.
