A Ray Of Smile

They met, hardly talked.

They talked, hardly met.

A link clicked by divine intervention, and years later..

They met, they talked and only love remained.

Life took a new turn and it was no longer "Me" or "You".

It was always "We" and "Us".

He realized she is perfect for him,

She made him her world.

He wanted a friend,

She was a perfect one.

He wished she could be his partner,

She agreed.

He thought they made a perfect couple,

And she promised they will be one.

He asked for her support, she was there.

He asked for her time, she was there round the clock.

He asked for her, and she was there.

He didn't change himself, she transformed herself to be him.

He was not there for her sometimes and she thought he was busy.

He snapped back sometimes but she didn't and let things go.

She faced things alone but ll that didn't matter to her.

What mattered the most was his support, being with him.

And she went to any extent to see him smile. Simply his smile.

One day, he decided to go away.

She couldn't go. She stayed back.

She was positive and hopeful because there was divine intervention.

She was still the same.

All she wished for even today was his smile and somehow she ensured that that smile never fades away.

She cried, cried a lot.

But her priorities never changed.

And one day, he was there for her.

She couldn't believe her eyes.

He was there, waiting for her.

She thanked God and smiled. But this time, smiled with him.
