The Moment Of Love

That night, when the moon had risen in the sky,

The lunar gleam was flooding, everywhere,

I walked with you, my love, when the naughty breeze

Blew around us, playfully caressing my hair.

A celestial shimmer shrouded the night sky,

The stars kept staring at us, with curiosity that knew no bounds,

The night was ours; we belonged to it;

And, we walked hand in hand, nothing else seemed to be around. 

How wonderful was that fraction of time when,

Dreamily, we looked into each other's eyes!

How wonderfully it stopped the night for a moment, that I believe-

Will last in my mind for many moons to rise.
