Footprints Of Love

So many years have passed,

So much has been changed, 

I'm a different person now,

But yes, still some of me is still left with you...!!

 I go down the lanes where our paths crossed,

I look for your glimpse in the balcony.

Usually, you are standing there... 

Mostly clad in blue, hair as usual carefree like you...

It's true some part of me is still with you...

Corridors were the place when I used to see you,

No words were spoken. nothing was there...

Only simple smiles of acquaintances,

It was so simple for you, but left me in trance forever,

Some part of me still... is waiting in those corridors may be for you!!

Time flies fast... everything is different,

I don't know where you are now,

Are you the same? Mostly "No'.

I'm the new one.. so you also can't be the same...

Still, something of me still belongs to you!!

U were the " first one" cherished by me,

U were the " first one" dreamt by me,

U were the" first one' of those blessings,

Bestowed upon me by kind youthful days.

Yes, some golden days of my life.

Are still left with you!!

Days were full of joy,

Time was heavenly,

Everything colored infancy,

Everything was painted so nicely

And you were part of it..!!

A beautiful painting as it was,

Colored by whatever was best within me,

Though I say something of me is with you,

Now I feel maybe "something of you" is cherished by me!!

Yes, definitely!! "Something of you ",

Is still remaining with me!!!
