Innocent Crush

The clock struck at six,

My situation was at fix,

We were enjoying family evening,

Could not even play any trick.

But, my heart was beating faster,

Brain was not ready to obey its master.

My legs wanted to move and rush,

And eyes were waiting to see my crush.

My next door heart throb must be in the balcony,

I had to reach the terrace, without disturbing family's harmony.

Suddenly I felt, I gained weight, Mom suggested to walk on terrace,

Oh! I love you Mom, you saved me to get embarrassed.

I was climbing to the terrace, both the doors opened at same time,

His deep eyes were fixed at me, and I couldn't not take away mine.

Those innocent, lovely evenings we spent just by exchanging our glances,

Neither he said anything, nor I took any chances.

After twenty years, today also, it's a family evening,

My daughter is trying to escape and I was smiling.

Generation changed, but the feeling and  tenderness is still the same,

Those beautiful emotions, always buried in our hearts, better not to give it any name.
