Oh! Love, You Fascinate My Imagination.

He wishes her a “Good morning” as soon as he catches a glimpse of the dawn.

 She wakes up to the notification beep set up exclusively in his name. 

Distant we are, together we wish and he kisses her on her forehead to bliss. 

He goes to jog and she yoga does, 

He returns and they together intake the warmth of morning tea.

 

To shower they go turn by turn,

 He washes the external body she the worn clothes. 

Eyeing the kitchen, she asks, "what to cook?" “Whatever you please” is the answer that crooks. He gets dressed in the clothes she chose, 

Comes around and helps her hang the washed clothes.

 “I will do the vessels by then,” said she thankfully and moved aside.  

He greeted the lords and sang hymns to them, She draped her sari and rang the morning bell.

He put vermillion amid her parted hair and they bowed down together to take the givers blessings. 

Thanking the Almighty for yet another beautiful day. 

 They slid to the kitchen and fed themselves.

 She broomed the floors while he mopped them. They shopped necessities and he paid for them. With a tub of popcorn, they watched their favourite movie. 

Amid which she falls asleep on his shoulder, 

And he makes sure not to move an inch to disturb her.

 Suddenly another beep rang and a question was asked: “Are you up or still sleepy?” 

"Good morning", she replied and softly thought what a pleasant dream indeed.
