I still can't fathom whether it was love or some fascination,

I miss every small detail of yours, be it the freckles or the nose pin you wore

The mementos of yours never let me settle, it hits me just like the waves hit the shore,

Tired of watching the moon brightening the cold, dark night

Life feels so desolate, when you're out of my sight,

I may act all tough, but the heart's still fragile
