The Last Blob
The Last Blob

There come the gloomy clouds
Murky and ready to shed the rain
First, it strikes the city and shouts
“Here I give away all my pain”
See the first droplet making its way
Million feet above the land, faster than the train
Hitting the ground so hard and ricochet
Every colony, street, and lane
Shining like a diamond, looking like a pearl
Playing and drenching in it, why would I refrain?
To jump on the puddles, dance, and twirl
Till the clouds completely wither and drain
Oh the charm makes my heart throb
The sweet aroma it contains
There goes the last blob
Until I say it to begin again.
