They Tried to take independence in front of British’s nose

There were millions of names

Which were not there in the hall of fame 

This was, of course, a political game

Indians confronted a lot

They divided the whole nation into 3 different parts

In the country, this created a huge fuss

1947 was a struggling year

Though the independence was near

Inside our core, there was some fear
