The Game Of Chess
The Game Of Chess
The game of chess had begun,
As I heard about the examination, which the teacher was going to test,
Oh, how much weapons he’d have- pencils, scissors and pens!
I fear him, as he welcomes me with a deadly smile.
“Going to pull out those rotten teeth!” cried the devil in disguise,
“Oh, just look! How many candies do you eat?!”
With that, the teacher started to examine my treacherous dental structure
Oh, how much he pulled! With such great power!
“Well, such a co-operative child!” said the teacher ending his process
Oh you must have seen, that instance, how much power my anger possessed!
“Just some little ice-cream, and the pain will be drenched,
“Such a brave little girl!” he appreciated in the end.
On our way back home, with my mouth wailing in agony
It seemed much more like a talk with destiny
But suddenly, I heard, the siren, the sound of ripe wants for life
And my heart changed, changed to care for the person who might even die
“Think about your pain, not others melancholy!
Think, how your gums would feel! How much agony!”
These were the voices of the brain, trying to drain
My heart for others, but it was in vain.
“God, hear this plea” I cried
“It must be painful, with these treated teeth
But more than my agony, there might be a greater blue
Just like we all have life, even me and you
Just save the other person’s life, in the best way you always do.”
“And I hope and still do
You might have saved another pearl too.”
