The Deep Well
The Deep Well
I've come to this war today,
Not holding heavy ancient sword and armor,
Not intending to invade or spread the terror,
Not for fighting with heavy weapons and a shield,
Not crossing the boundary or walking on the battlefield,
Not having an army that will lay their lives,
Not knowing who is my enemy or my friends,
Not riding a handsome brave strongest horse,
Not letting the world believe that death is loss,
Not competing with any living or the dead one,
Not expecting any win or loss once I am done,
I've come to this war today,
To enrage your minds to get composed in peace,
To love you all with all your existence and bliss,
To remind the bloodshed and the grief it brings,
To let you be free, as free as you're in your dream,
To reflect your inner happiness waiting to scream,
To tell you at the top of my voice that you're more important than it can ever seem,
I've come to this war today,
After thousands of years have passed by,
After the sun paved the way for the moon and I was just wondering why,
After being in the fire of sorrow and warmth of death,
After realizing that I am neither here nor there,
After knowing I was wrong when I fought with humans whom I couldn't understand,
Come with me to this war today,
Where we will kill the duality and ego,
Come with me to this war today,
Where we truly withstand our art of letting go,
Come with me to this war today,
Where we fight with nobody but ourselves,
Come with me to this war today,
Where we come out of our invisible wells.
