That January Day

I miss you so much more

Than I ever thought that I would,

And I have cried more tears

than I ever thought that I could.

That is what people say

So I suppose that love is a price

And it must be my turn to pay.

Sometimes I cannot help but to smile

Simply because I know that you are near,

But it is just not quite enough

For you are no longer here.

The months continue to just roll on by

But yet, I am still not yet the same,

But deep inside of my heart

Is where you will forever and always remain.

You left so much love behind 

The day you had to fly away,
