We all seek

Luck, that elusive thing we all seek,

It comes and goes like the wind in the trees,

Sometimes it's with us, and sometimes it's not,

But we keep searching, through thick and thin,

For that one moment, that one stroke of fate,

That will bring us the luck that we need.

Some say it's all in the cards we're dealt,

That luck is just a matter of chance,

But others believe it's something we make,

With hard work, perseverance, and hope,

That we can turn the tides, through thick and thin,

And create the luck that we seek.

But still, there are those who seem to have it all,

Born with a silver spoon, they never struggle for luck,

Their lives are easy, no thick or thin,

And we wonder why they never seem to seek,

For they already have everything they could hope,

And they take their good fortune for granted, like it's not.

But for most of us, luck is a fickle friend,

We seek it out, through thick and thin,

And when it comes, we hold onto it tight,

Knowing that it might slip away, like the wind in the trees,

Leaving us once again, to seek,

For that one moment, that one stroke of fate.

So we keep searching, through thick and thin,

For that one moment, that one stroke of luck,

Hoping that we'll find what we seek,

And that it will stay with us, through the wind in the trees.
