Stop & Stare
Stop & Stare
Choking talks,
Heartfelt walks;
Heartaches and tears,
Overcoming the fears;
Seeking sensibility,
Overseeing reality;
Pleasing every human I meet,
But for myself, I don't even greet;
A life wasted in logistic reasoning,
Emotions emptied in futile seasoning;
Do they really even care?
To know the answer, stop and stare!
Setting higher patience bars,
To let the fire conceal as stars;
Giving second thoughts,
To all the past toasts;
Should I even be waiting,
For their rating?
Or walk as I am,
Being the stiff stem?
Walking along the aisle,
I've turned vulnerable and fragile;
Am I turning the right stone?
Or am I going to die alone!
