Self-Respect

No one cares about you, 

Neither many nor few;

Nothing will ever be valued, 

Your existence, 

Your dedication, 

Your persistence;

You are a mere disposable, 

No one need you when they're stable, 

They believe in use and throw, 

That's coz you've never interrupted the flow;

You keep waiting, 

Your importance keeps abating;

That's your problem, 

If you die for them, 

They'll say I hadn't asked, 

And you're still dying for them?!

Stop undervaluing yourself, 

Put yourself on the higher shelf;

You have a life too, 

You're not anyone's pet, 

You deserve to be, 

Someone's real asset;

Walking away isn't your deal, 

I can understand how you feel;

But what's the use, 

Of killing yourself always, 

Amuse everyone, 

By going unexpected ways!
