Stereotype
Stereotype

As the beautiful facade of my face falls
At night everyday at your house
My mind clicks
and eyes blink
As I see the vulnerable girl in front of me
And not the headstrong feminist
With her confident statute
And nose high in the sky
But can you blame her?
It's our society that's cruel
Treating girls like a taboo
And boys like a star
Making me think
How wrong we are to think
That every pretty face is as dumb as a jar
And every boy as strong as an iron bar
So at night, I think
It's easier to love than to be loved
by others
And lay next to the broken girl
Cradling her like a porcelain doll she is
And not the headstrong feminist
