Stain On Our Souls

Pandemic of Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is spreading very fast,

The severe worldwide disease is causing sufferings and killing people in thousands!

With advent of vaccines every nation is working hard to achieve vaccination target,

Poor nations are desperate for help but our world is divided and people disoriented!

Rich and middle-class countries got the bulk of vaccines and all jabs'  now done!

Low-income countries have just given only one dose and struggling with its shortage 

Rich countries and their financial aids are urgently required to eradicate a big tragedy!

Some leaders have described the global vaccination rollout as a ‘stain on our souls’

 

The international bodies are there for namesake, keep on passing mere resolutions, 

Powerful rich countries controlling the purse, people all over world are suffering. 

But successive waves of various virus forces are sent out to plunder and kill people,

Rich world has turned its back on its neighbors who need help to save their lives?

The poor are distressed and accusing rich nations of worsening vaccine inequality,

No way poor countries can boost their way out of the pandemic and save you all?

The rich have lost credibility, prestige and respect in many developing countries

Because neighboring nations in Africa spared ‘it’s close to expiry date’ surpluses!
