Sonnet 1: Enigma
Sonnet 1: Enigma
You are a lock, to which there is no key,
As deep as any boundless ocean or sea.
With treasures trove hidden, waiting to be found,
A precious pearl was held captive overground.
I delve into the confines, of your brain box,
Then close the door, so no one else will find it.
A gateway to your innermost - soul,
So nobody can be, part of your whole.
I say you are my Adam, I your Eve,
I want to taste the berries and to believe.
That my zing will vanquish, your desire,
Enkindle a glow, that scorch into a fire.
So take this chance, and let me be apart,
Of shattering, The Enigma of your Heart.
